I often see technicians working on patch panels, labeling wall jacks, and testing cables before connecting active equipment.
But surprisingly, many of them still do not use cable testers with multiple locator remotes.

Consider a 6-floor building where each floor had:
- 4 cameras
- 2 access points
Using the standard testing method, a technician would need to go up to each floor at least 6 times.
In total, that is around 36 trips through the building just for cable testing and labeling.
At that point, the technician is either running around like crazy because the project needs to be finished urgently, or slowly crawling those same 36 trips because there is simply no energy left after constantly going up and down the building.

Using a tester with multiple locator remotes can reduce the number of trips by 5–8 times.
